And now for the Peace Nobel Prize the winner is...

After having tea in Alaska with his neighbor the bear, a rich president, sensing his end was near, summoned the European leaders and, with the world as his witness, said: « beware, » he told them, « of prolonging the war to liberate Ukraine, but I commit to selling you all the weapons you will need at a good price. » Then he hit them with a few truths that testify to the extent of his knowledge and the perspicacity of his thought:

« A ceasefire is useless; it only serves to rebuild the combatants’ forces.

War and enemy occupation have never prevented elections from being held.

No illegal immigrant has entered my country since I became president.

Thanks to me, the people of Washington can go out in the streets without fear; I am told that the restaurants are now full.

My wife takes care of our son more than she takes care of me…

My wife is very intelligent, like me. »

Around the table, Macron didn’t bat an eye, Meloni looked at the ceiling, and no one burst out laughing. Even the German Merz, who usually appreciates a good joke, refrained from chuckling.

It must be said that before going to play extras in Washington, the Europeans had consulted brain doctors who had deciphered the disorders Donald suffered from. They had advised not to contradict him, to fawn over him, to thank him ten times rather than once for his alleged good deeds, and above all, to tell him that he was the Phoenix of White House hosts… Then he would be overjoyed. And not to forget to pay his dues, a hundred billion dollars, to make him more receptive.

Donald was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and a lucky star in his hand. He dared everything, he got everything, without bothering with university degrees. He is cunning, boastful, a liar, a cheat, and pretentious. Through turmoil, seduction, arrogance, threats, and corruption, nothing has ever resisted him. Fortune and women are his only obsessions. One allowing him to buy the others. The 18-hole golf course is his only distraction. He is uncultured, ugly, and vulgar, yet his wife is educated, beautiful, and refined.

Fortunately, the European leaders had consulted with each other, and undoubtedly with some accomplices, they had approached the beautiful Melania, Donald’s valiant wife.

She was born in former socialist Yugoslavia, during the time of the Soviet empire. Her mechanic father was a member of the Communist Party, and her mother was a seamstress.

After studying architecture and design at the University of Ljubljana, she moved to Paris to pursue a modeling career before leaving to seek better fortune in New York. She is 26, cultured, well-proportioned, charming, and smiling. She speaks several languages, she knew the « small world » in Europe, and she was about to discover the « very big » one in America.

Her biography tells us that she met Donald at the Kit Kat Club in 1998, obtained a residence permit in 2001, married in 2005, and became an American citizen in 2006, the year her son Barron Trump was born.

Since then, she has endured the erratic behavior of her husband, 24 years her senior. A deceived and humiliated woman, but a strong-willed one, she takes it without flinching, strengthened by her immense popularity which makes her politically indispensable. Without her, Donald would not have been elected. With elegance, without making it obvious, she keeps him at a distance. In every way, she is the opposite of her husband.

During Donald’s inauguration ceremony, she alerted us in her own way by wearing a hat whose wide brim concealed her eyes. « I’m wearing the hat, I’m not here, I don’t want to see the disasters that are coming… » the First Lady seemed to say. Naturally discreet, reserved, and well-mannered, she dedicates herself to charitable works, limiting her obligations to the bare protocol minimum.

Has she, perhaps, measured the gravity of the hour? She has come out of her shell. She wrote a moving, somewhat childish letter to the bear, the terms of which were probably carefully smoothed over by the State Department before Trump hand-delivered it to its recipient.

The content of the message is not important, but the unprecedented signal is strong. It clearly indicates Melania’s will to exercise, in the shadows, a guardianship over the president who, with each appearance, gives the impression of losing his grip, jumping from one topic to another, unable to concentrate on a subject for more than ten minutes.

This is not the first time an American president has been physically and mentally incapable of fully performing his role.

In 1945, at Yalta, in Ukraine, where the post-war world was divided, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was in a state of health that did not allow him to stand up to Stalin. Alas, his wife, who substituted for all presidential decisions, was not authorized to make the trip…

Today, in Washington, in front of the statue of Eleanor Roosevelt (1884 – 1962), numerous tourists meditate on her words carved in marble:

« The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith. Freedom of speech. Freedom of worship. Freedom from want. Freedom from fear »

In Alaska, Trump also came without Melania. Was he in any condition to contradict Putin? The meeting—two and a half hours of talks, twelve minutes of a press conference—was reduced to a third of its planned duration…

Will Melania, whose influence over Donald is proven, save Ukraine and Europe from a shameful sell-out and Israel from eternal shame ?

The scenario of the president’s cognitive decline seems inevitable. Soon, it is likely that his activity will be reduced to messages on his social network Truth Social and brief, carefully staged appearances. Will Melania Trump have the same vigor and courage as Eleanor Roosevelt ?

In the meantime, until October 3rd, the world will hold its breath, because on that day, the Nobel Prize jury will reveal the name of the laureate for the Peace Prize. Donald wants it. Donald demands it. He has obtained thousands of recommendations, including those from the Prime Ministers of Israel and Pakistan, both paragons of peace as we know.

Unlike the other prizes, which are awarded by Swedes, the Peace Prize is decided by three Norwegian women and two Norwegian men. No one would want to be in the place of these five consciences whose names will go down in history: Anne Enger, Kristin Clemet, Gry Larsen, Asle Toje, and Jørgen Watne Frydnes (chairman). Their choice is a Cornelian dilemma.

To celebrate Trump would be to absolve him of his active and avowed complicity with the warlords of Moscow and Tel Aviv; it would be to encourage him to continue his policy of pretense aimed at normalizing the occupation of a portion of Ukraine by Russia. But to deny him the prize would be to risk enraging him; or conversely, to inspire him to redouble his efforts to deserve it in 2026, 2027, 2028…

The list of 244 nominations is secret, but the press mentions Elon Musk, a Qatari Sheikh, Gisèle Pelicot, Doctors of the World…

To help the jury, all suggestions are welcome.

To console Donald and prevent him from annexing Norway along with Greenland, Canada, and Panama, the prestigious Prize could be awarded jointly to Yulia Navalnaya and Melania Trump for putting up with Donald!
